PV Installer

Responsibilities
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols
  • Being prepared for a successful install (daily/weekly planning)
  • Must be able to communicate and work well in a team atmosphere
  • Must have the ability to perform quality and clean work on assigned projects
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Ability to work in hot/cold/rainy conditions for prolonged periods of time
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Document processes, and log daily, photos, and work into company data base
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Must be able to document changes in design and communicate them to office
  • Must be able to keep an accurate inventory of all racking parts and be able to forecast when we will need items, especially long lead times.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Necessary Skills and Experience
  • Be comfortable and able to climb on an a ladder to get on a roof
  • Be comfortable and able to work on roofs for several hours a day
  • Ability to consistently lift over 50lbs.
  • Ability to bend conduit is a plus
  • 1+ year experience working on a roof
  • 1+ year working in the construction industry
  • Electrical experience a plus
  • PV experience required a plus
Qualifications
  • Valid HI Driver’s License

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
